By accessing or using the SNTCSSC Admission Portal, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with registration or application.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering on this portal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this portal.
2. Eligibility
- Applicants must be citizens of India and permanent residents/domiciles of West Bengal
- Must possess a graduate degree from a recognized university
- Must meet the age criteria as prescribed by UPSC for the relevant examination
- Must not have any disqualification as per UPSC rules
3. Registration
- Each applicant may create only one account on this portal
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Any activity conducted through your account is your sole responsibility
- Providing false or misleading information during registration is grounds for disqualification
4. One-Time Registration (OTR)
- Once your OTR profile is locked, no edits or modifications will be permitted
- Ensure all details are accurate and verified before locking your profile
- The SNTCSSC administration reserves the right to verify all information provided
5. Examination Application
- Application submission does not guarantee acceptance
- Applications are subject to verification of eligibility and documents
- Incomplete applications or those with discrepancies may be rejected
- Application fees, once paid, are non-refundable except in cases of examination cancellation
6. Payments
- All fees must be paid through the designated payment gateway or UPI
- Transaction charges, if any, are borne by the applicant
- Payment confirmation is subject to verification by the payment gateway
- In case of failed transactions, amounts will be auto-refunded within 7-10 business days
7. Admit Card
- Admit cards are issued only to candidates whose applications are approved
- Candidates must download and print their admit card before the examination date
- Failure to produce a valid admit card at the examination centre will result in denial of entry
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this portal — including text, graphics, logos, study materials, and software — is the property of SNTCSSC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
SNTCSSC shall not be liable for:
- Any technical issues or downtime of the portal
- Loss of data due to user error or system failure
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from portal use
10. Modifications
SNTCSSC reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. It is your responsibility to review the terms periodically.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
